Talirond 440/450 - measuring systems developed by Taylor Hobson for precise, complex measurements of geometry parameters of heavy products. They are used in various industries (automobile, bearing, aircraft, etc.). Depending on the design feature of the part, the 440 (with rotating table) model or model 450 with a rotating sensor is applicable.

SENSOR

The lateral sensor has 100mm interchangeable probes used to solve various tasks. It is mounted in a special swivel lever, which allows the sensor to be placed in any desired position with respect to the measured surface (for measuring internal and external surfaces, from below, from above and at an angle). In the Talirond 440 model, the change of the sensor position is motorized, and control is performed from the program.

AUTO-TRACKING MODE

One of the innovations of Talirond 440 is the auto-tracking mode, in which, in the case of the sensor leaving the measuring range, the radial lever moves it to the return to the range. The resultant count is added from the sensor reading plus the reading from the scale of the radial arm.
