TONiC T1000 series is a new generation of ultra-compact encoders that have been specially developed for precision linear motion measuring systems operating at high speed, the encoders of this series provide higher accuracy and speed, as well as increased reliability and are used in a number of industries where very high requirements for measurements.
This compact reading head is complemented by a large-scale RGSZ tape with a gold coating of the latest design, the optical zero marks IN-TRAC ™ (starting positions) on this tape are selected by the user. These structures are uniquely built directly into the incremental channel, which allows you to perform electronic self-synchronization by simply pressing a button. Moreover, IN-TRAC zero marks provide bidirectional reproducibility, have exceptional resistance to yaw excursions and maintain synchronization over the entire speed range (10 m/s) and temperatures (70 °C).
In order to achieve maximum reliability, consistency of characteristics and a high degree of immunity to contamination, the TONiC read heads have a third generation optical signal filtering system that provides even lower noise (jitter-jitter), now the system is improved by dynamic signal processing , which includes automatic gain and offset control. This combination - and all systems are enclosed inside the head - gives a signal of exceptional purity and an extremely low subdivision error (periodic error): only ± 30 nm. As a result, smoother speed control is provided, which improves scan results and improves positioning stability-critical parameters for many tasks.
For the TONiC reading heads, a removable analog or digital interface is also provided, realized as a strong, convenient connector, which can be located up to ten meters from the head. This interface can perform digital interpolation with a resolution of up to 1 nm, with synchronized output signals to achieve optimal performance at any resolution in the case of standard controllers.
TONiC T1000 series encoders are extremely suitable for applications where very stringent requirements are imposed on precision, for example flat panel displays and photovoltaic cells, wire mounting, electronic assembly equipment, PCB drilling, coordinate measurement systems and various positioning tables, in which the advantages of linear motors, air cushions and high-speed drives are used.

RGSZ scaled tape in 20 μm steps
Scale tape RGSZ is a thin flexible steel strip, which is coated with gold to ensure high reflectivity and corrosion resistance. This tape can be fixed, using a self-adhesive base, on most materials used in the industry, including metals, granite, ceramics and composite materials. Now, the tape also has an optical zero mark IN-TRAC with automatic synchronization, which ensures two-way repeatability.
- The tape is supplied on a reel, so you can cut off parts of the desired length, from 50 mm to 50 m.
