LM10 sensor consists of a sealed measuring head that moves above a magnetic self-adhesive scale with a clearance of up to 1.5 mm and can have a measurement range of up to 100 m.

The reading head has a built-in LED indicator for the correct position of the head and the serviceability of the sensor. The lack of rigid tolerances and special equipment for mounting the magnetic tape simplify the installation of the LM10. The reference mark can be pre-installed on a magnetic scale or glued over the tape with a self-leveling device, which greatly simplifies the installation process.

LM10 sensors are manufactured in two versions - with a digital or analog output. Sensors with digital output have resolutions of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 microns. At the maximum resolution (1 μm), the LM10 provides a travel speed of up to 4 m/s.

Designed for harsh environments, linear sensors have a process temperature range of -20 to +85 ° C and a degree of protection - IP68, are highly resistant to shock, vibration and pressure. The magnetic scale is resistant to chemicals used in various industries. Non-contact reading LM10 ensures no friction and wear of the components of the measuring system, mechanical hysteresis at maximum speed and acceleration.

LM10 sensors guarantee reliable operation in harsh and difficult operating conditions, they are successfully used in woodworking, stone processing, metalworking, textile, printing, plastics industries, etc. They are also suitable for automation systems and assembly lines, for laser, plasma and waterjet cutting, microchip production, printed circuit boards, etc.
